How Tall I Jesus

The name Jesus refers to the Son of God, also known as Jesus Christ or Yeshua. Jesus is considered the biggest figure in religion, with over two billion followers.

As we see more and more celebrities and social media influencers expose themselves as less than godly, people are starting to question their own faith. With the growing number of people questioning their faith, there has also been a significant rise in anti-theist groups.

Many of these anti-theist groups use social media to share their views and fight for equality alongside religion. There have even been cases of anti-theist groups being targeted by hate groups due to this increase in visibility.

With this rise in people not believing in God or religion, there is a rise in the number of people who are losing faith.

Consider His stature

Jesus was a man, but He was also God. Jesus had a dual nature-He was human and He was divine.

Jesus is the second person of the Trinity-that which is comprised of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. The Trinity is difficult to explain, but it is an important part of Christian theology.

Because Jesus was fully human, he had a human stature. However, because He was God, His stature as God was infinite. He had authority over everything and everyone because He is who He is-God!

When you consider Jesus’s stature as God when considering His humanity, you can better understand His suffering on the cross. The pain Jesus felt in being crucified was real; it wasn’t just an illusion or a hologram. But because He was God, His suffering meant something much deeper than just pain. It represented salvation for us.

Look at the facts

Jesus was a real historical figure, along with his mother Mary, his father Joseph, his brother James, and his disciple Peter.

Historians and theologians agree on this. There is no controversy here. In fact, the few people who claim Jesus never existed are grossly uninformed.

However, there is some controversy over the fact that Jesus was not simply a man, but God in human form. This is the foundation of the Christian faith: that Jesus was both human and divine.

But how do we know this? How do we know he wasn’t just a really great guy who lived a really good life? How do we know he wasn’t simply a prophet or messenger of God – like Moses or Muhammad – rather than God himself? how|how|howdo we know these things? Because of the facts.

Consider his height

A significant number of people believe that Jesus was a very tall man. The idea is that he was tall enough to be considered a member of the group “tall”, which is 5 foot 10.

However, there is no evidence to suggest that he was this height. In fact, there is quite a bit of evidence to suggest that he was much shorter.

Many paintings and statues depict Jesus as being very pale skinned and therefore probably blonde hair. Given that ancient Greeks and Romans tended to have similar features, it is likely that these artists used their conceptions of what a “beautiful” person looked like as a model for Jesus.

Furthermore, the Bible never explicitly states Jesus’s physical characteristics, except for one verse in the Book of Isaiah where he is called “colorful grass” which some interpret as him being brown-skinned.

Given all this evidence, it can be concluded that Jesus most likely had dark-to-medium brown skin and short (perhaps medium-length) dark hair.

Was He really God?

Jesus never claimed to be God, but his enemies said he was pretending to be God. He constantly rebuked them for this and told them that he was the Son of God.

Jesus also called himself the “Son of Man,” which was a title he borrowed from a famous passage in the book of Daniel. In that chapter, the Son of Man is a divine figure who comes to earth to judge it. Jesus used this title for himself because he saw himself as coming to earth to judge it — not in an arrogant way, but in a way that would bring about justice.

Christians believe that Jesus is God because he is both fully human and fully divine. The New Testament contains many passages where Jesus claims both human and divine attributes. By linking these two aspects of his identity together, Christians arrive at the conclusion that Jesus is God (and therefore has both human and divine attributes).

What did Jesus say about His height?

how tall i jesus

Jesus never mentioned the height of Himself, His Father, or the Holy Spirit. However, Jesus did mention that He was the Son of God.

Jesus was quite clear that He was divine and not merely a great human teacher. He claimed to be God Himself come in flesh (John 1:1,14).

The New Testament is clear that Jesus is God made flesh (Philippians 2:5–6; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8–9). How could Jesus be God if He wasn’t divine? The answer lies in understanding the term “God.”

God is an eternal, personal Being who exists as three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All are One deity (Isaiah 45:5), yet Each possesses distinct attributes (Psalm 2:7–8; Hebrews 1:8–9). The Trinity is one God because Each Person is fully divine and One with each other—yet still separate Persons.

What about the apostles?

The twelve apostles of Jesus are a big deal, and many people wonder how tall the apostles of Jesus were. Unfortunately, we do not have any information on their heights.

The apostles are referenced in the New Testament as well as early Christian writings, like the Clementine Homilies and the Coptic Manuscripts. These offer some details about their lives, but nothing about their stature.

According to Christianity Today, the twelve apostles were Peter (leader), John (Bevier), James (son of Zebedee), Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot.

Some things we know about them: All but two were Jewish men; all lived in the northern part of Israel or what is now known as Galilee; and all either knew or came to know Jesus personally.

What about Mary?

When most people think of Jesus, they think of him as being a white man. This is due to the heavy influence of American culture on the world, but also history itself.

Jesus was Jewish, and the majority of Jews are brown-skinned or tan-colored. Since Jesus is believed to have been a real person who really lived, historians look into his ethnicity as well as his social and cultural background.

The Bible actually doesn’t mention what color Jesus was. There’s no verse that says “the Christ child was fair” or “the Christ child was dark.” This is because skin color wasn’t a thing back then – everyone was a brownish color due to the sun and water conditions.

By looking at relics from early Christianity and by examining the earliest images of Jesus, historians can conclude that he most likely had a darker complexion.

The Bible says we are supposed to grow to the same height as Christ

This is a metaphor for being the same size spiritually. When we grow in Christ and understand his teachings, we are said to be growing in spiritual understanding.

The Bible also says that Jesus is the Son of God, which means he is part of God. That makes him pretty high up, doesn’t it?

But this isn’t just a nice idea – it’s very important. It’s what makes Jesus special, and why he could tell us how to be forgiven and made right with God.

As he was the Son of God, Jesus knew what God was like – so when he told us to be like God and love each other, he knew what he was talking about. He was telling us how to be forgiven and made right with God.
